Meet Our Doctors

Charles S. Ovitsky, O.D.
President, Director of Optometry

Following in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Ovitsky is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry. Unfortunately, the young Dr. Ovitsky never had the opportunity to practice with the elder Dr. Ovitsky because of the father’s early death. The legacy his father did pass on to him, however, was the belief that the only way to practice optometry is with professionalism tempered by compassion.

Since 1983, Dr. Ovitsky has been providing vision care – professionally and compassionately – to residents of long term care facilities. As a result, Ovitsky Vision Care has become one of the largest providers of vision care to nursing home residents in the state of Illinois.
